I am now intrigued. You can find plenty of clips from The Room on YouTube; here’s a taste:
Another gem here. Hopefully this will make it into this years film festival.
According to Wiseau’s wikipedia page he’s planning to make a musical about the life of Ayn Rand. It all fits, doesn’t it?

I’m watching it now. It is everything they say it is. Try and track down the rooftop scene.

I watched the whole thing last night and it was brilliant. I’m not so sure the humor is in fact unintentional though. I mean, there’s a scene near the end where, in a fit of rage, the main character effortlessly manhandles a television..

“Try and track down the rooftop scene.”
Which one? Aren’t there several (all bluescreened)?

I saw that scene on youtube. It is suspiciously similar to a very famous scene in Citizen Kane, and I suspect the director seems himself as an auteur in the tradition of Orson Welles and is paying homage to him in that scene. I think it’s meant to be a serious film.

Sam: I was only partway through it. They’re all awesome, but the best one is the first, where Chris-R threatens to kill Denny over a drug deal.
