As you might have expected, Hitler is not thrilled with Kerry Prendergast and Wellington airport.
Not only has everyone I’ve spoken to objected to the sign, every guy I’ve spoken to has speculated about destroying it personally. I don’t think it’s a keeper.
Hitler really seems like the sort of person to understand the distinction between a copyright and a trademark. Although maybe it was just poorly translated from the original German =)

As to destroying it personally, I may have said this before but the simplest thing to do would be cover over the horizontals in the E.

Kerry has obviously begun to believe her own hype a little too much but perhaps this is a reflection of being in power for too long. They do say a leader should go before they are pushed; how many are insightful enough to do this.

…every guy I’ve spoken to has speculated about destroying it personally.
When the buffoon from Wellington airport was pitching for it on 3 News I was wondering how he imagined preventing the immediate, intensive and eminently-justifiable vandalism of it that would rapidly follow its construction.

A parody of old people trying to be hip or just clueless buffoons – you choose. Personally I go for the clueless buffoon option with an additional sprinkle of pixie dust up the arse courtesy of a guided tour of Weta.

Well if Wellington wants to be the laughing stock of the world so be it.
It used to be a lovely city.
Now it wants to be a feeble joke, (sigh).
