I predict that Chris Carter isn’t a big enough jerk to actually betray his (former, certainly?) friends in the Labour caucus and out them as anti-Goff conspirators, but he is a big enough jerk to try and sabotage the party’s conference this weekend with further attacks against Phil Goff.

Ha ha ha ha – Chris Carters jerk is only this big?

We need to understand the Goff/Carter genius.
Their deal is: If there is any danger of a coup against Goff, Carter will immediately name the conspirators, and announce that they have his full support, thereby preventing the coup.
Today he publicly endorsed Lianne Dalziel. So she’s finished.
Goff gets to look tough, and Carter kills off the contenders. As I say, pure genius.

Carter is clearly getting Goff by jerking.
How hard was that?

This is good for Dim-Post staff reporters.

OK I apologise. Well maybe. Sort of.
That was for my poor joke above.
It sounds very similar to to statements from a certain C. Carter and and a certain P. Henry.
At least my misjudgements (that I admit to) amount to a lousy joke.
Both Carter and Henry chose kamikaze. No apology will ever wash.

“I predict that Chris Carter isn’t a big enough jerk to actually betray his (former, certainly?) friends in the Labour caucus and out them as anti-Goff conspirators,”
But he could out Goff’s friends. After all, his co-conspirators theoretically hold the key to his future travel arrangements.

Sammy has it write.
Goff and Carter have been playing together all along. This is all part of a plot to oust the anti-Goff traitors so that the Labour Party is free of leadership diversions next year.
Carter’s loyalty to Goff will be rewarded by Carter being appointed the first Gay Governor General by Prime Minister Phil Goff.

That Chris Carter sure is value for money.
Oh wait, that was his problem in the first place, lack of value for money.
