Henare needs to be careful about what names he calls a place where a lot of my ancestors dwell.
I doubt Henare has been there.
He sounds like a white, middle class, male whatever………….

yeah I tought it was cool to call it Myanmar but recent work has illustrated to me that Burma is a better name.
Comment by Monkey Boy — October 13, 2010 @ 9:25 pm
Not all of Myanmar is Burmese. Chin and Karen are two other ethnic groups and are not really Burmese so both names are not the best.
Comment by philonz — October 14, 2010 @ 9:00 am
Yeah, and Karen really hates it when you call her a ‘Chick’ or ‘Broad’ too…

“was a bit quiet today on the old tweet machine, will step it up tomorrow about 14 hours ago via TweetDeck ”
Thank goodness he’s gonna start ‘stepping up’ his tweeting. with valuable information like “this is really crap tv” and “Transport and Industrial relations Select Committee in 24 minutes……………yawn” it’s great to have a real insight into the workings of government from someone who is being paid by the taxpayer to try and appear interested in the select committees he is on.
Comment by nommopilot — October 14, 2010 @ 3:13 pm
can’t we find enough people in our current parliament who are genuinely interested in transport and industrial relations issues? I mean these are fairly important and topical issues… aren’t they Tau? try to stay awake, bro…
