The Listener have an interview with me here. The book launch is at 6PM tonight at Unity Books Wellington. Elizabeth Knox will introduce the book. Wine will be made available. Try not to spill any on the stock.

  1. “Try not to spill any on the stock.”

Surely on a “you break it, you bought it” approach, this should be positively encouraged?

  2. Danyl’s confident he’s going to sell out at full price. No discounted ‘second’ stock. No, sir-ee.

  3. Sorry to read that you were clinically depressed. That must be tough. Care to tell your loyal blog readers what that was all about and what it was like?

  4. Hmm. What about spilling wine on Elizabeth Knox?

I joke, of course. As if any of your readers are going to waste a single drop of delicious free alcohol.

  5. Good luck – hope it’s a great evening for you!

  7. “There definitely won’t be a third book about the Aro Valley. A fourth?. Maybe”

  8. The Listener, is that pinko piece of toilet paper still around? Probably still has articles about Mcphail and Gadsby being funny 🙂

  9. Well done Danyll. I did not know you suffered from depression. Double well done.

  10. It was nice to meet you. Of course I didn’t think of something interesting to say until afterwards: Your next book should be called Unnecessary Tautologies Of The Aro Valley.
