  1. Correlation or causation; and if the latter, which is driving which?

  2. @AG – I would have thought that was obvious, all that hot air is what’s driving global warming…

  3. Pretty sure this is a misquote.
The correlation is with “At the End of Days…”

Ackshully, look, I’m sure most New Zealanders are pretty relaxed about the whole famine, plague, oceans of blood scenario. I wouldn’t use the term Apocalypse. That’s overstating it. It’s more of a short term eschatological correction.

  5. At the end of the day you’re another day older

Shorter of breath and one day closer to death?

    Comment by Andrew Geddis — September 12, 2016 @ 12:53 pm

  6. “… and one day closer to death?”

“Another day older and deeper in debt” Isn’t that what the song says?

  8. Google informs me of the message Antoine actually was trying to convey:

There’s a hunger in the land
There’s a reckoning still to be reckoned and
There’s gonna be hell to pay
At the end of the day!

S/he’s mad as hell and isn’t going to take it anymore!!!

  9. Hanging on in quiet desperation . . .

    Comment by me — September 12, 2016 @ 2:33 pm

  10. I see there’s a hiatus between 2000 and 2007, when there wasn’t really any increase in the use of “At the end of the day.” Let the political SCIENTISTS explain that!

  12. Correlation or causation? Who cares? They are connected (the graph says so).
That PROVES they are “Risk Factors” for something.
